Abstract
The Program of actions for the supervision, prevention, control and eradication of animal diseases, of those transmissible from animals to humans, animal protection and environmental protection establishes the supervision and control of domestic animal and wild animals’ diseases and the causes that can influence their state of health, as well as the quality of animal products derived therefrom. The objectives of the programs establishing the health status of domestic and wild animals, the correlation between animal diseases and their transmission to humans, as well as ensuring the hygiene conditions of animal products derived from them and of products of non-animal origin intended for human consumption, ensuring public health and protecting the interests of consumers. The executive director of the county sanitary-veterinary and food safety department, respectively of the Bucharest municipality, has the obligation to notify the single offices or, as the case may be, the local public administration that authorized the operation of the economic entity.
