Governmental Decision No. 114 validating the Sanitary-Veterinary arrangements included in the Program of actions for surveillance, prevention, control and eradication of animal diseases, those transmissible from animals to humans, animal protection and environmental protection, identification and registration of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats, the actions provided for in the Surveillance and Control Program in the field of food safety, as well as the maximum tariffs related to them for 2011.

This Governmental Order contains Sanitary-Veterinary arrangements included in the Program of actions for surveillance, prevention, control and eradication of animal diseases, those transmissible from animals to humans, animal protection and environmental protection, identification and registration of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats, the actions provided for in the Surveillance and Control Program in the field of food safety, as well as the maximum tariffs related to them for 2011. The aforesaid Program establishes the surveillance and control of diseases of domestic and wild animals and of the causes that can influence their state of health, as well as the quality of the products of animal origin derived from them. The objectives of the Programs are to establish the health status of domestic and wild animals, the correlation between animal diseases and their transmission to humans, as well as to ensure the hygiene conditions of products of animal origin derived from them and of products of non-animal origin intended for human consumption, health insurance protection of consumer interests. For situations with major epidemiological risk, with implications for public health and the national economy, caused by a pandemic, epidemics, emerging diseases and cross-border diseases, the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority requests the support of the National Committee for Emergency Situations.
