Abstract
This Joint Order regulates the conditions mandatory for the fulfilment by operators in the food sector who carry out activities in the field of production and marketing of foodstuffs obtained according to established Romanian recipes, in order to be registered in the National Register of Established Recipes. Registration of the aforesaid foodstuffs is voluntary. Romanian established recipe shall be intended the food product manufactured respecting the composition used more than 30 years before the date of entry into force of this Joint Order. The National Register of Established Recipes shall be intended register managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development which contains: the name of the operator in the food sector, identification and contact details thereof, the name of the certified food product, the number of the certificate from the National Register. The list of Romanian established recipes is updated periodically, at 6-month intervals, based on the proposals of professional organizations in the field, accompanied by the technical documentation, which is approved by the General Food Industry Directorate. Joint Order lists documentation to be submitted to the competent authority for insertion in the National Register. The logo of the established recipe is the exclusive property of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The rights regarding the logo of the established recipe can only be transferred by the holder of the logo.
