Law No. 211 On waste regime.

This Law envisages application of fines for contraventions related to waste management for natural persons and legal entities for failure to fulfill the obligations and responsibilities of the local public administration authorities. Finding contraventions and applying the fines is carried out, as the case may be, by commissioners and authorized persons from the National Environmental Guard, Forest Guards, structures from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as local and county public administration authorities, according to the powers established by law. The violator can pay on the spot or within no more than 48 hours from the date of conclusion of the report or, as the case may be, from the date of its communication, half of the minimum fine.
