Abstract
This Regulation establishes authorized maximum residue limits of microorganisms in certain categories of animal feedstuffs. It shall be applicable to animal feedstuffs released on the national market. This Regulation regards the following categories of animal feedstuffs: (a) any substance of product, including additives, whether or not partially processed, processed or unprocessed, intended for the use as oral feed; (b) complete feedingstuff - a compound feedingstuff which, by reason of its composition, is sufficient for a daily ration; (c) premixtures of additives - mixtures of feed additives or mixtures of one or more feed additives with materials, feed or water raw materials, used as raw materials, not intended for direct feeding of animals; and (d) raw materials for feed - products of plant origin whose main purpose is to meet the nutritional needs of animals in the natural condition, fresh or preserved, and products derived therefrom as well as organic and inorganic substances with or without additives for animal feed, intended directly for oral animal feeding, as well as after processing or for preparation.
