Abstract
This Regulation on the procedure for the evaluation of maritime transporters and live animal transport vessels in order to authorize or operate on the Romanian territory with a view of authorization transportation of live animals. Authorization shall be valid for maritime transportation of live animals for the distance exceeding 10 nautical miles. Vessels transporting live animals must be certified and be in possession of sanitary-veterinary authorization. The representatives of the Romanian Naval Authority are responsible for the verification of the conformity and validity of the aforesaid documentation.
