Order No. 184 of the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority validating the Veterinary and Sanitary Regulation on medical prescription forms with special regime and with dry stamp for the issuance of veterinary medical products and the methodological norms regarding theirs use.

This Veterinary and Sanitary Regulation establishes medical prescription forms with special regime and with dry stamp for the issuance of veterinary medical products and the methodological norms regarding theirs use. The single model, as printed with special regime, of the medical prescription form necessary for the issuance of veterinary medicinal products is contained in the Annex 1. Veterinary pharmacies issue, on the basis of a medical prescription, only those veterinary medicinal products that are authorized by the Institute for the Control of Biological Products and Veterinary Medicines for marketing in Romania. Veterinary medicinal products may be dispensed by any veterinary pharmacy authorized by the competent authority in accordance with the acting legislation. The prescription of veterinary medicinal products is made on forms with special regime, which are contained in Annexes 1 and 2. Veterinary medicinal products containing active substances that are included in the list of substances that are released without a prescription, according to the decision of the Committee for Veterinary Medicinal Products, are an exception to the provisions contained in Annexes 1 and 2. Veterinarians are obliged to keep the pink copy of the medical prescriptions issued for a period of 3 years from the date of their issuance.
