Order No. 463 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forests, Water and Environment prohibiting the introduction to the market and the import of jellies containing the food additive E 425 Konjac.

This Order establishes that introduction to the market of jellies, including minijellies, containing the food additive E 425 Konjac: (i) Konjac gum; (ii) Konjac glucomannan is prohibited. In the process of manufacturing jellies, including mini-jellies, the use of the food additive E 425 Konjac: (i) Konjac gum; (ii) Konjac glucomannan is prohibited. Import of jellies, including mini-jellies, containing the food additive E 425 Konjac: (i) Konjac gum; (ii) Konjac glucomannan is prohibited. The provisions of this Order are mandatory for all units in the public and private sectors.
