Abstract
This Regulation establishes the procedure for the storage of natural gas in the natural gas transport system. This Regulation aims to: (a) ensure from a technical point of view a unitary and transparent framework regarding the storage of natural gas in the transport pipelines related to the natural gas transport system; and (b) establishing the technical conditions that must be met by the transport pipelines, existing in the natural gas transport system, to be used for natural gas storage. The object of this Regulation includes: (a) the methods of natural gas storage: (i) natural gas storage in the natural gas transport system; (ii) natural gas storage in the natural gas transport pipeline; (iii) gas storage natural gas in high-pressure annular distributors; (iv) storage of natural gas in above-ground metal tanks; (b) calculation of the energy of natural gas existing in the transport pipelines related to transportation system; and (c) monitoring of transportation system. This Regulation is applied by the operator of transport and system in the situation where it is necessary to store natural gas in the transport pipelines related to transportation system.
