Order No. 728 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forests, Water and Environment validating Veterinary Sanitary Regulation regarding the colorants that can be added for the coloring of veterinary medicinal products.

The provisions of this Veterinary Sanitary Regulation shall apply to colorants that may be added for the coloring of veterinary medicinal products. In the case of veterinary medicinal products, no distinction shall be made between the colorants used for both mass and surface staining and the colorants used only for staining the surface. The Annex contains the List of colorants authorized in Romania for the coloring of veterinary medicinal products, which includes all the colorants envisaged by the community legislation. Institute for Control of Biological Products and Veterinary Medicines shall be authorized state institution responsible for the approval of the technical data sheets of imported colorants.
