Abstract
This Order establishes hunting quotas for roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) for the period May, 1 2022 – April, 30 2023. Roe deer specimens under the age of 1 year, referred to as "youth", shall be subject to hunting within the quotas provided in column 8 of the annex to this order, respecting the hunting period authorized for "male" and "female". In the situation where on a hunting ground the hunting quota for the roe deer species has been exhausted or the hunting quota has not been approved or it is not a hunting period, the central public authority responsible for hunting approves, by approval report, supplementing hunting quota and/or hunting in the period from the entry into force of this order until 30.04.2023, upon the proposal of the management of the specialized territorial structures of the central public authority responsible for hunting, which checks for this purpose the requests received. Trophies belonging to specimens hunted under the terms of this Order are evaluated in accordance with the methodology of the International Council for Hunting and Game Protection. The control of the manner in which the provisions of this Order are respected is carried out by the specialized staff of the central public authority responsible for hunting and its specialized territorial structures. The specialized territorial structures of the central public authority responsible for hunting will check quarterly and whenever necessary, as a result of notifications, the manner in which the managers of the hunting grounds fulfill the provisions of this Order.
