Order No. 914 of the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests validating the derogation for catch of some fish species for scientific purposes.

This Order, by way of derogation, regarding the regime of protected areas, conservation of natural habitats, authorizes capture, inventory and release of listed Acipenseridae and huso fish species from the Danube, in the Grindu area (Mm 76-68) and the Isaccea area (Mm 53-54). Capture of the aforesaid fish species shall be carried out by the National Research and Development Institute Danube Delta – Tulcea with specialized technical staff by legal fishing gear and fishing methods in order to avoid injury to fish species. Captured specimen will be identified, measured, photographed and released immediately to their natural environment.
