Abstract
Veterinary Sanitary Regulation establishes the procedure of sanitary-veterinary authorization/registration of the enterprises carrying out activities in the field of animal feed and means of transport of animal feed in accordance with acting veterinary and sanitary standards. It shall be applicable to animal feed processing enterprises performing processing operations at all stages, from primary feed production to final feed production and placing on market and transportation thereof. Sanitary-veterinary authorization shall be intended the document issued by the competent veterinary authority, for the carrying out units the activities in the field of animal feed provided in Annex 1 and which meet the sanitary-veterinary conditions provided by the acting legislation. Sanitary-veterinary registration shall be intended the document issued by the competent sanitary-veterinary authority for units carrying out activities in the field of animal feed production and means of transport for animal feedstuffs contained in Annex 2. Annex 1 contains the list of activities and production units subject to the issuance of sanitary-veterinary authorization. Annex 2 contains the list of activities and production units subject to the issuance of sanitary-veterinary registration. Regional Directorate, branch of National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority, and municipality of Bucharest, shall be responsible for the issuance of sanitary-veterinary registration document, in accordance with veterinary standard, for vehicles transporting animal feedstuffs. Annex 5 contains the application form for registration of vehicles intended for transportation of animal feedstuffs.
