Decree establishing the Programme of financial support to sunflower agricultural producers in the year 2022.

This Decree, based on the provisions of the Serbian Law on agriculture and rural development, establishes the Financial Support Programme for agricultural producers engaged in sunflower production during the year 2022. This text also determines the conditions for exercising the right to financial support, the procedure for exercising the right, the amount and method of disbursement of funds, as well as the monitoring over the implementation of prescribed functions. The funds for the implementation of this regulation are provided by the Law on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2022 ("Official Gazette of the RS", No. 110/21 and 125/22), within Section 24 - Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Chapter 24.6 - Administration for agrarian payments, Program 0103 - Incentives in agriculture and rural development, Function 420 - Agriculture, forestry, hunting and fishing, Program activity/project 0007 - Market regulation rules and measures, Economic classification 451 - Subsidies to public non-financial enterprises and organizations. The right to financial support is granted to a legal entity, an entrepreneur and a natural person - the owner of a commercial family agricultural farm that produced sunflowers in the year 2022 (agricultural producer) and is registered in the Register of Agricultural Farms and is in an active status.
The main objectives of the Program are to provide financial support to agricultural producers of sunflowers in the 2022 crop year, in order to preserve the stability of the producer's income in difficult business conditions.
