Decree on public participation in the development of certain plans and programs in the field of environmental protection.

This Decree, based on the provisions of the Serbian Environmental Protection Law, prescribes the procedure for public participation in the decision-making process on the creation, amendment, review and adoption of air quality plans, regional and local waste management plans, i.e. hazardous waste management plans, national waste management plan, waste prevention programmes, noise protection plans in the environment and water pollution protection plans. This text shall not apply in relation to plans and programmes for which the procedure of public participation is carried out in accordance with the law governing the strategic assessment of the impact of plans and programs on the environment or in accordance with the law governing the management and protection of water.
