Abstract
This Directive sets procedural and technical manner for the correct and controlled sampling and sample handling. Sampling object of this text is regarding the monitoring of animal health in relation to the presence of transmissible spongioform encephalopathies.
The text is divided into four main Sections as follows: (1) Equipment for sample collection; (2) Procedure for collection of necessary animal materials taken for laboratory analysis purpose; (3) Packaging and sending of samples; and (4) Documentation and records.
