National strategy for the fight against corruption in the Republic of Serbia for the period from 2013 to 2018.

This publication contains the full text of the National strategy for the fight against corruption in the Republic of Serbia for the period from 2013 to 2018. The general goal of this Strategy is to fight and eradicated the corruption, which represents an obstacle to economic, social and democratic development of the Republic of Serbia. Although corruption is a pervasive phenomenon, the Strategy lists all individual areas in which priority action will be taken, which are recognized as key to building and strengthening anti-corruption mechanisms and systems. During the implementation of the Strategy, public authorities which are involved in preventing and fighting corruption, are required to exercise their powers in accordance with the following general principles: Rule of law; Principle of "zero tolerance" for corruption; Principle of responsibility; Principle of comprehensive application of measures and cooperation of subjects; Principle of efficiency; Principle of transparency.
