Abstract
This Nature protection Programme of the Republic of Serbia for the period from 2021 until 2023, based on the provisions of the Law on planning system of the Republic of Serbia and in accordance with the Strategic Plan of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity for the period 2011-2020, sets relevant planned issues aimed to protect the biodiversity and to implement decisions made at regular sessions of the Conference of the Parties to this Convention and other ratified international treaties on nature protection, biodiversity conservation and climate change.
Annexes (1-7) are part of this publication (Annex 1 - Map of protected areas; Annex 2 - Map of the ecological network; Annex 3 - Comparative overview of strictly protected and protected species at the national level with the status of protection at the international level; Annex 4 - List of laws and bylaws relevant to nature protection; Annex 5 - Biodiversity Conservation Objectives; Annex 6 - Alignment of the national goals of the Republic of Serbia with the global goals and EU goals for the protection of biodiversity; Appendix 7 - Problem Tree).
