Regulation on the content and manner of keeping registers of protected areas.

This Regulation prescribes the detailed contents and sets the procedural manner for keeping the registers of protected water areas of the Republic of Serbia.
These registers of protected areas are kept by the public water management company, separated per each determined water area and separately for each protected area. The register for each protected area contains: documents (the act by which the area was declared or designated as protected, a digital map of the protected area in GIS format); data such as registration number of the protected area, the name of the protected area, category of protected area (according to protection categories), boundaries of the protected area (polygon coordinates), the name of the competent authority by whose act the area has been declared or designated as protected, the number and date of the act by which the area was declared, and/or designated as protected, the list of surface water bodies covered by the protected area, with the coordinates of the position of the water bodies, the list of groundwater bodies covered by the protected area, with the coordinates of the position of the water bodies, surface and other characteristics of the protected area, the name of the protected area manager, and the name and info of contact person of the protected area manager.
The registers may also contain other data on the protected water areas, data on water bodies, data on the existing and required water regime (quantity and quality of waters).
