Regulation on the content of the forest area development plan, the manner and procedure for its adoption and preparation.

This Regulation here defines the necessary contents of the Forest Area Development Plan, including the mandatory manner and procedure for its adoption and preparation. The Development Plan, in accordance with the law governing forests, shall in particular contain: a legal, strategic and planning framework; a description and analysis of the state of forests and previous management; forest functions and forest management objectives; a program of measures and activities and guidelines for the implementation of planned works; a projection of expected effects; indicators for monitoring the implementation of the Development Plan; as well as annexes. The Development Plan shall contain basic information about the forest area, as well as other data of importance for the implementation of the forest management objectives of the forest area for which it is adopted. The content of the Development Plan shall be systematized through the following chapters: Legal, strategic and planning framework; Basic information about the forest area; Description of the state of forests in the forest area; Analysis of the state of forests and previous forest management of the forest area; Forest functions; Forest management objectives of the forest area with a program of measures and activities, guidelines for the implementation of planned works, projection of expected effects and indicators for monitoring the implementation of the plan; Annexes. Basic information about the forest area contains data on the soil, geological background and climatic characteristics of the area, a list of municipalities covering the forest area, data on the area and forest cover of the forest area, forest areas covered by the forest area, a list of forest users, a list of management units, as well as an overview map of the forest area.
