Regulation on the content of the project for protection and rehabilitation of the environment during and after the use of natural resources, and on the procedure and conditions for giving project consents.

This Regulation determines the contents of the environmental protection and rehabilitation projects that are meant for phases during and after the use of a certain natural resource on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. This text also sets out the procedure and conditions for giving consent to such projects.
The project of protection and rehabilitation of the environment during and after the use of natural resources, contains: 1) type of natural resource and capture capacity; 2) description of the location where the realization of the natural resource exploitation project is planned; 3) presentation of the state of the environment at the location and the immediate environment (micro and macro locations) with a presentation of possible cumulative effects with other projects in the environment; 4) nature protection conditions; 5) description of possible significant impacts of the project works on the environment; 6) description of the technological process; 7) data on determined and verified reserves of resources; 8) assessment of the impact of exploitation on the environment in the event of an accident; 9) a description of the measures envisaged in order to prevent, reduce and eliminate the harmful impact on the environment; 10) references of the system of environmental impact monitoring that was adopted during the exploitation of present resources; 11) measures to mitigate the impact on the environment and measures to rehabilitate the environment, after the cessation of the use of resources and the closure of the plant; 12) certificate on performed technical control of the project.
