Abstract
This Regulation determines the contents of the national Programme for monitoring over the safety of food of animal origin and of animal feed that are imported, for the year 2020. Monitoring object of this text includes tasks relevant only to food of animal origin and animal feed that are actually imported into the Republic of Serbia, and it shall be implemented as follows: 1) at certain border crossings where veterinary and sanitary control is performed, in accordance with laws governing veterinary medicine; 2) at the place of unloading of consignments in approved warehouses or registered facilities. This particular monitoring Programme is applied for the purpose of veterinary and sanitary control, in order to ensure that imported food of animal origin and animal feed meet safety and quality requirements, also for the purpose of safe internal market and trade activities.
