Abstract
This Regulation establishes the Program for monitoring the safety of food of animal origin and imported animal feed for the year 2024. Monitoring includes food of animal origin and food for animals imported into the Republic of Serbia and is carried out: 1) at certain border crossings where veterinary-sanitary control is performed, in accordance with the law regulating veterinary medicine; 2) in the place of unloading of shipments in warehouses that are approved or registered in accordance with a special regulation. The monitoring program is implemented for the purpose of veterinary-sanitary control, in order to ensure that imported food of animal origin and animal feed meet safety and quality requirements, as well as animal food and animal feed produced in the Republic of Serbia and placed on the market of the Republic of Serbia.
