Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Serbian Food safety Law, establishes the Programme for monitoring the safety of food of plant and mixed origin for the year 2022 (which is part of this publication). The monitoring includes food of plant and mixed origin that is produced on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and is carried out in facilities for: 1) production of food of vegetable and mixed origin foods; 2) storage and distribution; 3) wholesale sale of food of vegetable and mixed origin. This monitoring Programme is prepared based on a risk analysis, taking into account the following elements: 1) the current situation in the food safety system of plant and mixed origin, including data on unsafe food on the local market, in the region and from imports; 2) data on the production and consumption of food of vegetable and mixed origin; 3) data on previously established non-conformities during official controls of food of plant and mixed origin; 4) information from the Rapid alert system for food and feed (RASFF) and International Food Safety Authorities Network (INFOSAN).
