Abstract
This Regulation here establishes the Serbian Monitoring Program for the safety of food of plant and mixed origin for the year 2025, which is part of this text.
This type of monitoring covers food of plant and mixed origin produced on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and it shall be carried out in facilities for the production, storage, distribution and retail sale of food of plant and mixed origin. It will also include food of plant and mixed origin imported into the territory of the Republic of Serbia, namely: fresh spinach, processed spinach, deep-frozen or frozen, corn flour, popcorn corn, polenta, corn starch, soy products (tofu cheese, sausages, hamburgers, pieces, soy crumbs, soy milk, soy yogurt, soy sauce), rice products (rice milk, rice noodles, rice flakes), eggplant originating from the Republic of India and the People's Republic of Bangladesh and papaya originating from the People's Republic of China and from the territory of North and South America. The Monitoring Program contains: 1) objectives for its implementing; 2) structure of bodies and organizations for implementing of monitoring objectives; 3) Monitoring Plan for food of plant and mixed origin, which prescribes the taking of samples for certain tests; 4) measures to be taken in the event of the presence of certain hazards; 5) necessary funds for related financing; 6) other parameters of importance for implementation, namely: (1) taking, marking, packaging, storage and transport of samples, (2) testing of samples in the laboratory, (3) reporting.
