Abstract
This Regulation prescribe the conditions related to the quality of fruit jams, jellies, marmalades, jelly marmalades, homemade marmalades, sweet chestnut puree and other similar food products.
This text further set the issues on: categorization and official names of such products; physical, chemical and sensory properties; necessary composition; properties and quantities of raw materials used for the production; additives and other ingredients; testing the quality of products; elements of essential technological procedures that are actually applied; declaration, as well as packaging and labelling requirements.
The provisions of this Regulation shall not apply to products intended for the manufacture of bakery products, cakes or biscuits.
