Regulation on the type and content of measures that the user of arable agricultural land is obliged to apply when using land.

This Regulation prescribes the type and content of measures that the user of arable agricultural land (owners, state, social, cooperative and mixed enterprises) is obliged to apply when using such kind of land.
The measures that the user of arable agricultural land applies are: basic cultivation, sowing, nutrition and protection of crops and perennial plantations and mowing of natural meadows. Basic cultivation of agricultural land includes removal of plant residues from previous crops and plowing. Removal of plant residues from the previous crop has to be done by 31 March, and plowing by 30 April 30 of the same year. Crop sowing includes pre-sowing preparations of arable land and sowing of crops: field, vegetable, industrial and fodder crops. Pre-sowing preparation and sowing shall be done until 10 June each year.
Article 5 determines that the nutrition and protection of crops and perennial crops shall include: nutrition with organic and mineral (artificial) fertilizers and protection against weeds, diseases and pests. Nutrition and protection of crops and perennial plantations are performed on the basis of recommendations given to users of arable agricultural land by authorized agricultural services. Mowing of natural meadows includes mowing and drying of natural grass cover, and it shall be performed by 15 August each year.
