Strategy for prevention and combating gender-based violence against women and domestic violence for the period 2021-2025.

This Strategy, based on the provisions of the Law on planning system of the Republic of Serbia, provides for planning document aimed at prevention and combating gender-based violence against women and domestic violence for the period from 2021 until 2025. The Strategy for preventing and combating gender-based violence against women and domestic violence is substantively related to strategies related to key areas defined by the Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence, which are the backbone of the strategy: justice and protection of rights, prevention violence against women and domestic violence, security, social and health care. This Strategy is based on international acts and national regulations relating to the areas here covered (see section 2 for full list of such instruments).
