Abstract
The Agreement shall refer to either unirradiated (fresh) nuclear fuel or spent nuclear fuel, and transboundary transportation thereof both ways between the Russian Federation and Hungary, including transit thereof, across the territory of Ukraine. Transportation shall be performed by railway without re-loading on the territory of Ukraine. The modalities of accompanying unirradiated (fresh) nuclear fuel and spent nuclear fuel shall be regulated by contracts. In case of outbreak of nuclear disaster due to transportation (transit of nuclear materials mitigation of the consequences thereof shall be responsibility of the Party on which territory it occurred.

The Agreement entered into force in Ukraine on 23 October 2013.
Notes
This Agreement shall be valid for ten years, shall be automatically renewed for one or more ten-year periods unless either Party terminates the Agreement by written notice to the other in which case the Agreement shall be terminated within twelve months since receipt of the notice.
