Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Armenia on deconservation and renewed operation of the Armenian atomic power-plant.

The Parties have agreed to carry out the following joint activities at the Armenian atomic power-plant: (a) inspection of the equipment; (b) deconservation and renewal of the Armenian atomic power-plant, additional arrangements for safety improvement thereof (art. 1). The Russian Federation shall render technical assistance and supply nuclear fuel (art. 2). Armenia shall adopt safety requirements for atomic power-plants analogous to those currently in force in the Russian Federation (art. 6).
