Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Namibia in the sphere of fisheries.

The scope of this Agreement shall be to promote cooperation in the sphere of marine fisheries. The cooperation shall be performed in the following fields: (a) conservation, monitoring and rational management of marine resources; (b) prevention, containment and liquidation of illegal, unreported and unauthorized fisheries; (c) exchange of information on fisheries; (d) research; (e) promotion of aquaculture and mariculture; (f) promotion of fishing methods and fish processing technologies; and (g) use of Namibian harbour facilities by the Russian fishing vessels on commercial basis.
