Abstract
The Parties have agreed to promote cooperation in the following fields: (a) conservation, management and rational use of living marine resources; (b) prevention, containment and elimination of illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing of living marine resources; (c) exchange of information related to fisheries; (d) scientific research and elaboration of scientific and technical programs; (e) promotion of aquaculture; (f) training and qualification improvement of staff of the fishery sector; (g) joint projects in the sphere of marine fisheries, processing and trade of fish products; and (h) bilateral conferences, seminars, consultations, workshops and exhibitions related to fisheries.

This Agreement is concluded for a period of 5 years. The validity of this Agreement is automatically extended for subsequent 5-year periods if one of the Parties does not notify the other Party of its intention to terminate it in writing through diplomatic channels no later than 6 months before the expiry of the corresponding 5-year period.
