Abstract
The scope of this Agreement is to promote the creation of an appropriate organizational and legal framework for mutually beneficial cooperation in specific areas of joint activities related to the exploration and use of outer space, as well as the use of space technology and technologies for peaceful purposes. The Parties shall cooperate in the following fields: (a) research, including astrophysical exploration, and study of planets; (b) distant zoning, including exploration of the natural resources of the Earth and monitoring of natural disasters and calamities; (c) development of satellite navigation systems; and (d) protection of the outer space environment, including control, prevention and reduction of outer space waste formation.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement shall enter into force on the date of receipt of the written notification of the fulfillment by the Parties of the domestic procedures necessary for its entry into force.
Notes
This Agreement is concluded for a period of 10 years. The validity of this Agreement is automatically extended for subsequent 5-year periods if one of the Parties does not notify the other Party of its intention to terminate it in writing through diplomatic channels no later than one year before the expiry of the initial or any other subsequent period.
