Abstract
The Parties have agreed to set up Intergovernmental Russian-Cuban Commission for Trade-Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation. The Parties shall cooperate in the following fields: (a) exploration and mining in the EEZ of Cuba in the Gulf of Mexico with a view of extraction of hydrocarbons; (b) development of renewable energy sources; (c) development of mining industry; (d) hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring; and (e) tourism.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement shall enter into force on the date of receipt of the written notification of the fulfillment by the Parties of the domestic procedures necessary for its entry into force.
Notes
This Agreement is concluded for a period of 5 years. The validity of this Agreement is automatically extended for subsequent 5-year periods if one of the Parties does not notify the other Party of its intention to terminate it in writing through diplomatic channels no later than six months before the expiry of the initial or any other subsequent period.
