Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on cooperation in the construction and operation of a nuclear power plant on the territory of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The Parties, taking into account the priority of nuclear and radiation safety, shall ensure the timely issuance by the state safety regulatory authorities in the sphere of the use of nuclear energy of the Parties of the permits and licenses required for the implementation of this Agreement in accordance with the legislation of each state of the Parties, in particular for work at the nuclear power plant construction site, projecting, export and import of goods, works and services required for the supply of equipment and materials, and for putting into operation and decommissioning of nuclear reactors and all design systems, buildings and installations, the need for the issuance of which permits and licenses is defined and agreed upon by the competent authorities of the Parties.
