Abstract
The Parties establish the Russian-Armenian Center for Humanitarian Response located on the territory of the Republic of Armenia in order to facilitate the implementation of the tasks of emergency humanitarian response in the territories of the Republic of Armenia, the Russian Federation and third countries. The Center shall perform the following tasks: (a) participation in carrying out measures for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations, including extinguishing fires; (b) provision of emergency humanitarian assistance to populations affected by emergencies; (c) implementation of joint projects and programs in the territories of the Republic of Armenia and third countries; (d) training of specialists and implementation of humanitarian demining projects; (e) training and professional development of specialists in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations; (f) testing and demonstration of modern fire and rescue equipment and technologies; and (g) fulfillment of other tasks that do not contradict the goals of the Center.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement entered into force on 22 January 2016.
Notes
This Agreement shall be valid for 5 years from the date of entry into force and it shall be automatically extended for subsequent 5-year periods unless either Party notifies the other Party in writing at least 6 months before the expiry of the next period about its intention to terminate this Agreement.
