Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden on cooperation in the field of health and social security.

The Parties shall develop cooperation on topical issues of health and social security policy and its functioning on the basis of parity and taking into account mutual interests. Different forms of cooperation are determined on the basis of mutual interests and taking into account the experience gained by both Parties in the course of mutual exchanges, visits and other contacts. The cooperation of the Parties under this Agreement shall be carried out by the authorities of the Parties - the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Health and Social Security of the Kingdom of Sweden, mainly through: (a) exchange of information; (b) exchange of specialists and delegations; (c) participation of specialists in congresses and scientific conferences organized by one of the Parties; (d) closer cooperation between health and social welfare institutions, as well as establishing direct links between manufacturers of medical equipment, equipment and medical supplies, especially for people with disabilities; and (e) other mutually agreed forms of cooperation in the field of health and social security.
