Abstract
The Parties have agreed to establish annually the amount of electric energy supply to be transported through unified energy systems of the Parties. The Parties shall commit themselves to ensuring stable and regular functioning of power supply networks. A joint-venture shall be instituted by the Parties finalized for electric energy export to third parties. The Parties shall jointly modernize transboundary electric power lines. Coordination of this Agreement shall be carried out by the competent institutions of the Parties – the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus.

This Agreement shall be effective from the date of signature.
Notes
This Agreement shall be open-ended and will continue to remain in force until one of the Parties notifies its intention to terminate it in written form, in which case this Agreement shall be terminated six months after receipt of the written notice.
