Abstract
The main activity of the joint venture shall be scientific research, design and exploration, prospecting, development of oil and gas fields, mining and extraction of oil and natural gas, collection and preparation of oil, gas and gas condensate, their trade in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Russian Federation and third countries through the Vietnamese organization on contractual terms, as well as performing work and providing services to organizations of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Russian Federation and third countries, if it does not prejudice the core business of the joint venture.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement shall be applied provisionally from 1 January 2011 and shall enter into force on the date of receipt through diplomatic channels of the last written notification of the Parties' compliance with the domestic procedures necessary for its entry into force.
Notes
The period of validity of this Agreement shall be until 31 December 2030.
