Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Slovak Republic on cooperation in the field of long-term oil supplies from the Russian Federation to the Slovak Republic and transit of Russian oil through the territory of the Slovak Republic.

The Parties, with a view of ensuring energy security of the Russian Federation and of the Slovak Republic, have agreed to create favorable conditions for ensuring the supply of oil from the Russian Federation to the Slovak Republic for domestic consumption of up to 6 million tons per year and the transit of Russian oil through the territory of the Slovak Republic to third countries in the amount of up to 6 million tons per year. Annual oil supplies for domestic consumption and oil transit, as provided for in Article 1 of this Agreement, shall be carried out on the basis of contracts (agreements) between Russian and Slovak economic organizations.
