Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Cyprus on cooperation for the development of Black Sea coastal region of Russia (Krasnodar Territory).

The Parties shall pledge themselves to the improvement of rational management of the regional natural resources (art. 1). Furthermore, they shall promote the development of agriculture using new advanced forms of economic activity and shall conserve the regional ecosystem (art. 2). The Parties shall cooperate in the field of energy sector for the purpose of management of energetic resources and, in particular, sources of renewable energy (art. 3). The Parties, for the purpose of the implementation of the present Agreement, have agreed to set up the inter-governmental organization “Russian-Cyprian organization for the development of Krasnodar Territory” (art. 4).
