Abstract
The purpose of the present Agreement shall be to promote cooperation in the field of sea transportation and navigation (art. 1). The Parties shall cooperate in ensuring safe navigation and protection of the marine environment against pollution (art. 3).

Entry into force notes
The Agreement enters into force thirty days after the receipt of the last notification of the fulfilment by each of the Parties of the internal procedures required for its coming into force.
Notes
The Agreement shall expire within six months of the receipt of the written notice of the intention of one of the Parties to terminate it.
