Abstract
The Parties shall cooperate in the following fields: (a) projecting, construction and operation of nuclear power plants with a view of energy production; (b) shutting down of nuclear power-plants; (c) storage and recycling of spent fuel, and radioactive waste management; (d) nuclear safety and radiation protection of environment; (art. 1). The cooperation shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) planning and elaboration of joint programmes and projects; (b) training of personnel; (c) exchange of information (art. 2).

The Agreement entered into force on 18 January 2001.
Notes
The present Agreement shall be valid for three years and it will be automatically extended for one or more three-year periods, unless twelve months before its expiry one of the Parties informs the other, in writing, of its decision to terminate it.
