Abstract
The Parties shall cooperate in the following fields: (a) energy production, transfer and distribution; (b) scientific research; (c) training of personnel (art. 1). The Parties shall elaborate the development program of the national energy sector of Kyrgyzstan (art. 2). The Parties shall harmonize the national legislation in the energy sector and standardization of energy equipment (art. 4).

The Agreement enters into force from the date of signature.
Notes
The period of validity shall be five years and the Agreement shall be automatically extended for the subsequent five-year periods unless one of the Parties informs the other in writing of its decision to terminate it six months before the expiry date.
