Federal Law No. 100-FZ amending Federal Law No. 109 - FZ of 1997 "On safe handling of pesticides and agricultural chemicals".

Article 21 (1) shall be amended to add the following wording: “The Government of the Russian Federation has the right to establish the competence of federal executive bodies to exercise federal state control (supervision) in the field of safe handling of pesticides and agrochemicals at specialized checkpoints across the State Border of the Russian Federation and in temporary storage warehouses when importing pesticides and agrochemicals into the territory of the Russian Federation. Federal state control (supervision) in the field of safe handling of pesticides and agrochemicals in temporary storage warehouses is carried out within 72 hours from the moment the pesticides and agrochemicals arrive at the temporary storage warehouse”.
