Federal Law No. 112-FZ amending Federal Law No. 195-FZ “Code of Administrative Offenses”.

Article 8.35 of Code of Administrative Offenses shall be amended to add the following wording: “Article 8.35. Causing harm to rare and endangered species of animals and plants or other organisms listed in the Red book of the Russian Federation and (or) protected international treaties of the Russian Federations, including their destruction, or actions (inaction) that may lead to death, reduction in numbers or disruption the habitat of these species of animals, plants or other organisms, or procurement, storage, transportation, purchase, sale or transfer of species of the aforesaid animals, plants or other organisms, their products, parts or derivatives without proper permit or in violation of the conditions stipulated by the permit, or in violation of any other established procedure, if these actions do not contain signs of a criminal offense, shall entail the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount from two thousand five hundred to five thousand rubles with confiscation of hunting gear, illegally obtained animals, plants or other organisms; to officials shall be applicable fine varying from fifteen thousand to twenty thousand rubles with confiscation of hunting gear used for procuring animals, plants or other organisms, as well as their products, parts or derivatives thereof; to legal entities shall be applicable fine varying from five hundred thousand to one million rubles with confiscation of means of obtaining animals, plants or other organisms, as well as their products, parts or derivatives thereof”.
