Federal Law No. 313-FZ amending some legislative acts.

In the Article 13 of the Law No. 4979-I on veterinary medicine the wording “certificate issued by the authorized state body” shall be substituted by the wording “compliance certificate or compliance declaration shall be issued as envisaged by the Russian legislation on technical regulation”. Item (b) of the Article 11 of the Federal Law No. 86-FZ on state regulation in the field of genetic engineering shall acquire a new wording “Regarding produce obtained with the use of GMO and subject to compulsory certification or compliance declaration, compliance certificate or compliance declaration shall be issued as envisaged by the Russian legislation on technical regulation”. Article 12 of the Federal Law FZ-29 on food quality and food safety shall acquire a new wording “Article 12. Confirmation of compliance of foodstuffs, materials and products (1) Confirmation of compliance of foodstuffs, materials and products destined for sale shall be carried out in cases established by the legislation of the Russian Federation. (2) Organization and carrying out compulsory certification or compliance declaration of certain foodstuffs, materials and products shall be carried out in accordance with the Russian legislation on technical regulation”.
