Federal Law No. 420-FZ amending Federal Law No. 166-FZ on fisheries and conservation of aquatic biological resources.

Article 7.3 shall be amended to add a new wording: “Scientific research in the sphere of fisheries and conservation of aquatic biological diversity can be carried out either with or without removal thereof from their natural habitats”. Article 15 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Fisheries can be carried out in regard of species of aquatic biological resources catch and harvest of which is not prohibited. The list of species subject to industrial and coastal fisheries, and also the list of particularly precious aquatic biological resources, shall be validated by the authorized fisheries institution”.
