Federal Law No. 471-FZ amending Forest Code (No. 200 – FZ).

Article 9 establishes that the right of permanent (open-ended) management of forest plot pertaining to public or municipal property, the right of lease of such forest plot, application and cancellation of servitude, shall be regulated by Land Code. Article 38 establishes that forest management for agriculture (haymaking, grazing of livestock, reindeer breeding, cultivation of crops, aquaculture, commercial fishfarming and apiculture) shall be performed with or without allotment of forest plots, application or not application of servitude or public servitude. Forest management for agricultural purposes by natural and legal persons shall be regulated by contracts. Article 74 establishes that agreement on the uncompensated use of forest estate plot, pertaining to public or municipal property shall be concluded for the period up to five years.
