Federal Law No. 525-FZ amending Federal Law No. 81-FZ enacting the Mercantile Marine Code.

Federal Law No. 81-FZ enacting the Mercantile Marine Code shall be amended to add the following wording: “Navigation hydrographic support in the water area Northern Sea Route, in the waters of seaports located on the coast of the Northern Sea Route, and on the approaches to them shall be performed by the federal executive body performing public service functions and state property management in the field of maritime transport, and the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom" in accordance with the modalities, established by the Government of the Russian Federation.” Navigation rules in the water area Northern Sea Route shall be applicable in order to ensure safe navigation, prevention, reduction and control marine pollution.
